After school services at Therapeutic Rehabilitation help transition students who attended Summer Services to be prepared for the upcoming school year and become more successful and engaged throughout the year. Individual therapy and group treatment focus on cognitive-language skills and integrate learning strategies into the students' goals and educational plans.
Our therapists will help create a schedule that best meets each student's scheduling and therapeutic needs.
S.O.A.R. (Strategies & Organization for Academic Reintegration) is an ongoing, open-enrollment, therapeutic learning and study skills service for adolescents and young adults who have suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and are striving to return to, begin, or improve their learning and educational focus. Clients/Students receiving these services will either be enrolled in or returning to middle or high school or returning to various post-secondary school settings. Services will be provided individually or in small group settings, depending on the students’ therapeutic needs for intense skill building.
D.I.V.E.(Developing Interests and Vocational Experiences) is a pre-vocational service for adolescents with Traumatic Brain Injury. D.I.V.E. provides early work skills readiness services to help our young clients transition from middle school and high school students to valuable additions to their community, the work force and for post-secondary training possibilities.
