Our Berkley Clinic offers a unique, technology-driven, creative environment, providing clients with the opportunity to grow their professional skills using both Windows and Mac workstations, as well as a variety of media production equipment. Our therapists and CBIS-trained field professionals work with clients to provide training in the fields of Graphic Design, 3D Design, Social Media, Photography, Videography, Administration, E-Commerce, and Barista Training. Berkley Client Associates are trained to meet the needs of various day-to-day business functions, including managing accounts with community customers. This training allows clients to refine their professional skills, including communication with supervisors, client coworkers, and customers, within the structure of a supported professional design and production studio.

The following Berkley departments support each client’s individual needs through job training tasks such as:

• 3D / Product Design:  Design, plan, model, and print 3D design projects as well as maintain and operate 3D printers
• Administrative Assistant: Learn software, organization, communication and time management skills as well as composition of documents specific to Administrative Assistant job duties
• Barista Training (TRU Beans): Set up, clean, and operate a mobile coffee cart while maintaining health standards and inventory management
• E-Commerce (TRCollections Etsy shop):  Learn how to operate, manage, and promote an online store, including inventory and money management as well as promotions
• Graphic Design:  Develop design principles such as typography, composition and color theory to create graphics for print and online use
• Motion Graphics: Using industry-standard software, plan and learn to animate graphics for a variety of dynamic uses
• Photography: Learn and use digital DSLR cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment while developing studio photography skills and editing images using industry-standard technology
• Social Media: Gain a foundational understanding of social media marketing while creating, submitting, and scheduling content for company social media pages
• Technology: Work with hardware and software while developing computer knowledge and technology-related skills
• Videography:  Produce videos from planning to production, edit and create post-production graphics, and learn audio recording, mixing, and correction
